Layer winding is a high-precision horizontal winding process over several layers. The wire is wound onto the workpiece via a wire guide that traverses along the winding axis. Depending on the wire and the application, this can be a standard winding or a special pattern such as trapezoidal, layer stop or orthocyclic winding.

Our range extends from small, robust bench-top machines (FW 022/FW 122) to large, permanently mounted machines with a wide winding width and a solid tailstock (FW 222–FW 422).

All models: integrated PC, freely programmable, network capability for program management and offline programming. From FW 122 onwards, further traverse widths in 200 mm steps up to max. 2,000 mm; the clamping length increases by 200 mm accordingly. “–” = not specified.
